A bus was stuck in the snow outside my apartment

The most prevalent activity that night was taking pictures of a bus.

Unfortunately the snow has mostly melted now and the roads are all safe.

  1. That's cool. Broadway was laid out to be no steeper than a dray horse could manage with a load. I too am surprised a bus got stuck. They must not have de-iced it.

    1. They salted the upwards-side of the street before it snowed, but I don't remember if it was last night or during the day on Friday.

  2. Yeah snow is normal here in Chiberia. But Tacoma? I can just imagine.

  3. At least the weather contributed to some great photos. :)

  4. Your Olympia SM7 takes great photos - must be the one with the f/1.8 10 - 210mm stabilized zoom and carbon ribbon ;)

  5. Those are some nice photos. I've always enjoyed walking in the snow. Can't say the same for rain.

Interesting that in a city covered with snow the bus did not have chains or sanders or other traction device.

    1. I thought the same—surely they could have had a bag of sand in the back of the bus. That's all it took to get it moving again.

But people here are 100% unprepared when it snows, and it snows once every year. XD
