  1. Hello!
I was gifted a SCGD serial 6T. The carriage doesn't advance for every key strike, the space bar seems to jam up and the manual carriage return... won't. Any suggestions on how I might repair it myself? I am in Fresno CA and it appears there isn't a soul around to do repairs.
    Thanks much.

    1. I'd suggest you go to the portable typewriter forum and ask; there are plenty of people who might be able to help you.

  2. I have a royal dart 1959 and the keys are stuck since it has not been used. How do you unstick
the keys so they will move freely again?
