My ideal keyboard / Rhodia and Lamy

What particular elements of the keyboard do you prefer?

The first ink is a brown that I created by mixing a light brown and black ink. It's not ideal to used inks you mixed yourself, especially between different brands, and in my case this means the ink leaks out of the nib a bit sometimes. But I do love the color.

Sent from my two Lamy fountain pens.

  1. I think the biggest thing I'd do if I created my own keyboard would lay out the function keys similar to Facit, but with a palm tab like a Royal HH. I would like a few accents for letters, but that is where interchangeable type fits. One of the reasons I like my Classic 12 machines.

    1. I should have gone over function keys, too. I just didn't really think to do that! I definitely agree with you on the Facit's functions. I like all of them grouped on the right side.

  2. I'm just oogling at the Unical sample you've done.
    Can't stop oogling.

    1. It's so messy though!

But so much fun to write in, and it really isn't very difficult. :D

  4. Nice mixture in this brown. I currently enjoy Diamine Anceint Copper via Lamy Safari.
