  1. I think it is a really neat looking typewriter.

    1. Neat looking is probably a good way to put it.

  2. I used to own one and agree, form trumps function in this Underwood De Luxe model. But what a form!

I wouldn't worry about the 1st person pronoun, it's your blog after all. Unless you want to say "Nick Beland has been neglectful... Nick Beland hasn't ignored his typewriters..." ( :

    1. From now on I'll have to write my blog posts in third person. XD

  3. It's one of my favorite typewriter designs (and typefaces). Designer Paul Braginetz followed the lead of '50s cars in introducing exuberant shapes that are, yes, a little phony -- but so much fun.

  4. I'm with Richard on this. It is a bit over the top, but not nearly to the level of a 1959 Cadillac. Lovely photos!

  5. Ditto with Richard & Dwayne. It's a particular beauty. Wish I had one of the brown ones myself. :D

    1. I think the brown ones look quite a bit nicer. Their lines are better, and I think the colors work better on them as well. :)
