I wouldn't worry about the 1st person pronoun, it's your blog after all. Unless you want to say "Nick Beland has been neglectful... Nick Beland hasn't ignored his typewriters..." ( :
It's one of my favorite typewriter designs (and typefaces). Designer Paul Braginetz followed the lead of '50s cars in introducing exuberant shapes that are, yes, a little phony -- but so much fun.
I think it is a really neat looking typewriter.

ReplyDeleteI'm with Richard on this. It is a bit over the top, but not nearly to the level of a 1959 Cadillac. Lovely photos!

ReplyDeleteI think the brown ones look quite a bit nicer. Their lines are better, and I think the colors work better on them as well. :)
