You are on a roll this month! So many stunning typewriters, with magnificent typefaces to match. Congratulations on another great find. I wonder if anyone else has noticed that all the Vogue typefaces seem to be found on the colorful Royals? Were any plain black ones made that had Vogue? Just wondering...
I reduced my desires to a simple formula, and just got lucky a few times. XD
I have always wondered the same! The only one I've known to have Vogue that wasn't a colourful Royal portable was a 1950s Royal HH and that is an anomaly in the Vogue world.
I think as long as you don't look round the back too often you can consider you got a bargain. Let's face it, paint is just paint but a good platen's a platen.

Impressive score! And now you've got me wondering about a recovered platen. Must be a joy to type on. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely got a worn feel to the action, but the good platen helps a lot. Thanks. :)
DeleteYou have scored well... Very nice!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly. Well snagged indeed!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That is a truly stunning machine, creates very striking type too.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh. Mmmmmmm....
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The yellow is beautiful, and what a score! Keep it coming ;)
