Good to see you typecasting again. That Remington was a nice deal! It's a #1, and when it was introduced it was the only game in town as far as 4-bank portables. The first numeral in the serial number will tell you the year of manufacture in the '20s. For instance, NM44530 would be made in 1924.

The other typewriters I bought are a Rem Quiet-Riter Eleven, a Royal Diana, and a Royal Royalite.
